George Peterburs

Building resonance is one of the key principles in George’s work.

Resonance for the human being means connecting with awareness, aliveness and meaning. Resonance in an organisation means creating a safe space that allows all members to experience personal and organisational wholeness, purpose and impact.

George works as a teacher, moderator, coach, advisor, author and speaker for human well-being, resilience and mindfulness. George also coaches organisations in the cultural transformation from hierarchical pyramids to organic, agile (or TEAL) networks.

George has over 15 years of work experience in two large organisations, Apple Inc. and Hoffmann-La Roche. He has worked in Ireland, the U.K., Germany and Switzerland. Since 2005 he has been living and working in Basel, Switzerland and founded resonance gmbh in 2016. George is extremely grateful to his teachers Mark Williams, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Rick Hanson, Margaret Wheatley and Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.

Lisa Brandner

Positivity, mindfulness, kindness and organisational talent – these words embody Lisa’s personality and reflect the values she wants to pass on to others. She began her professional career after her studies in Business & Management. She likes to integrate her creative streak while connecting with people to bring more awareness and joy into the lives of others. After she graduated, Lisa worked for international companies like Evonik and Tesla. She has lived and worked in Germany, Switzerland, the Philippines and India. In spring 2020 she joined the resonance team. Lisa is also a certified yoga teacher for four different yoga styles. The resulting way of life nurtures her mental strength, spirituality and overall well-being. Her economic background paired with her passion for yoga and meditation is the perfect mixture to be a part of resonance.

Lisa’s greatest motivation is to see people grow and become the best version of themselves by finding their true self.

Maria Volkmann

Maria loves bringing people together and encouraging mutual inspiration. Having completed her Bachelor’s in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Maria is currently a Master`s student at the University of St. Gallen where she studies Economics.

Combining her academic studies with her work at Resonance, Maria brings an independent and untainted view on work processes and routines in organisations. This makes it easy for her to think out of the box. Maria is frequently commended for her critical mind, always questioning the status quo. Challenging at times, Maria’s inputs lead people to rethink rules, habits and routines Her principles are best summarised as: “everybody counts, everybody has responsibility – within the team, organisation, and society.”

Kerstin Thurma

Kerstin is passionate about helping people find their inner truth. Since she started this journey in 2004, she has encountered various scientific, spiritual, physical, and mental insights. Seminars, books, self-reflection, coaching and discussions continuously enrich her knowledge and experience. When we begin to open ourselves up to what is and take responsibility for ourselves, we will unfold our potential and lead a fulfilling life.

After receiving her diploma in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Kerstin worked at renowned companies (Daimler, Lufthansa, Unilever) in personnel and project management. Her methods are inspired by non-violent communication by Marshall Rosenberg and the mindfulness philosophy. She finds the right approach to a person.
